Serve Each Other

Instead, use your freedom to serve one another in love. ~Galatians 5:13

Serving at New Hope

Each aspect of New Hope is a ministry and an opportunity for us to serve each other. We are always looking to grow our volunteer ministries, and they are a great way to meet new people!

Here are some of the current volunteer ministries available at New Hope. You may find your next call to serve, or if you see a need, we're also open to adding more areas based on your specific talents and interests!

Welcome Team: Be the first friendly face that people see when they walk in the door. Greet visitors, get to know members, help people find their way around.

Communion Team: Communion is a treasured sacrament by which we strengthen our faith as we remember Christ’s death. Prepare and cleanup Communion trays for worship. Training is provided.

Children’s Ministry Team: Volunteer to serve children (babies through 5th grade) in TenderCare, ConnectionLand Jr., and ConnectionLand.

Music Ministry Team: Use your vocal and/or musical instrument talents to praise God during our Worship Celebrations.

Technical Team: There is a lot that goes on behind the scenes of Sunday Worship. Offer your talent in the sound booth, running the computer, or uploading Worship Services.

Replanted Ministry Team: Meeting one Saturday evening per month, this ministry provides resources and connection for families coming together through fostering or adoption. A vital need of this ministry is having dependable volunteers to care for, guide, and support the children in this program. It is a 2.5-3 hour commitment once a month that will make a meaningful impact in a child's life and yours.

Communication Team: Sharing information with the congregation and with the wider community is an important part of keeping people connected. Whether it's writing emails or creating a social media post, God has a place for you on this team!

Cleaning Team: Help make the church a clean and healthy place by dusting, vacuuming the carpet in the lobby and Worship Center, and washing toys for Children’s Ministry. Serving time is flexible. If you have a couple of hours during the week, we’d love your help!

Grounds Team: Help take care of the exterior grounds. Depending on the season, mow and weed, or shovel snow and spread salt in the parking lot. These jobs are done on an as-needed basis when your schedule allows.
