New Hope Christian School

Bringing honor to God by educating children about His world, focusing on Christ.

Who We Are

New Hope Christian School enrolls students from Preschool through Eighth Grade. Since September 2025, Little Eagles Learning Center is also enrolling children from 6 weeks through 4 years old.

New Hope Preschool first opened in 1991, with a morning three-year old class and a morning four-to-five-year old class. The demand from the community for more classes was extremely high, leading to more preschool classes and the addition of Kindergarten classes in fall 1999. Each year, a new grade was added, thus establishing New Hope Christian School.

Since the beginning, we have been a Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod School Ministry, and God has continued to open doors for us to grow His kingdom. In 2002, New Hope Ministries, including NHCS, moved into our current building on American Drive. In the years that followed, several expansions have been built to accommodate our growing school - including middle school classrooms, a gymnasium, and fine arts rooms.

New Hope Christian School graduated its first class of eighth graders in 2007. Since then, God has continued to use every corner of this facility to grow His kingdom!

In 2025, decades after He began His good work at New Hope, God led us back to our roots. He reminded us of our mission - to bring honor to God by educating children about His world, focusing on Jesus Christ. We recommitted to our purpose - partnering with parents in providing a Christian Education for their children. He renewed our joy - guiding students from where they are to where God calls them. In His timing, He also provided a path for our staff child care program to soar into a full-time, year-round learning center.

From morning prayer to mathematics, God's overwhelming love and Biblical truth permeates every aspect of our school. Believing that God is the source of all wisdom and recognizing that every child is lovingly and uniquely created by God are vital pillars of education at NHCS. It is through this lens that we fulfill all Wisconsin State Standards for participation in the School Choice Wisconsin Program.

At each age, students are guided to think critically and Biblically as they interact with the world and curriculum. We utilize a variety of learning styles and offer additional supports as needed to help each child succeed with the talents and needs that God gave them. Our dedicated teachers, staff, and volunteers create a learning environment where children can be who God made them, while also feeling safe and encouraged to grow. This foundational education will prepare students for wherever God leads them after NHCS.

Whether through a special classroom fun day, while cheering on the New Hope Eagles, or simply coming together for weekly chapel, our students have the opportunity to build lasting relationships and a sense of community while at school. We are honored to foster those friendships year after year and will proudly declare: Once an Eagle, Always an Eagle!

What We Believe

The philosophy of education at New Hope Christian School rests on these fundamental principles:

  • God calls His people into a grace relationship with Himself (John 3:16, Ephesians 2:8-9, 1 Corinthians 10:31). Christian education must strive to acknowledge, understand, and nurture each individual's God-given abilities and use these abilities for God's glory.

  • True knowledge is impossible without the recognition of God (Proverbs 1:7, Romans 1:18-23). The whole range and content of education must be centered on God and His Word, assisting students to develop a Biblical view of all life.

  • Parents are to bring up and train their children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord (Deuteronomy 6:4-7, Ephesians 6:4, Proverbs 22:6). The primary responsibility for education rests not on the school, but on the parents. It may be wise, however, for parents to enlist the aid of Christians who are equipped with the gift of teaching.
