Ready to get moving for God? Let's go!

Serving at New Hope is a great way to meet new people!

Current Volunteer Opportunities

SUNDAY MORNINGS:

Welcome Team: Be the first smiling face people see on Sunday mornings! Volunteers serve about one Sunday a month. Couples and families are encouraged to serve together.

Usher Team: Serve people by distributing handouts, assisting with seating, offerings, and directing worshipers to Communion.

Communion Volunteer: Communion is a treasured sacrament by which we strengthen our faith as we remember Christ’s death.  Prepare and cleanup Communion trays for worship. Serve one Sunday a month. Training is provided.

Worship Arts Team:  For more information on serving opportunities in music, production, drama, dance, and other creative gifts click here

Coffee Volunteer: Between services, coffee is available for people gathering in the Commons.  Keep an eye on the coffee carafes and refill as necessary from 9:30 to 10:00am. Serve one or two Sundays a month.

Second Hour Leaders: Lead a Bible Study or a small group video series on Sunday mornings during our Second Hour (10:00-11:00am).   Leading a small group can be as simple as pressing play on a video and sharing discussion questions! Training and guidance is provided.

Children’s Ministry Team: Volunteer to serve children (babies through 5th grade) in Connectionland Jr. and Connectionland.

Security Team: Help ensure the safety and security of adults and children attending services and other activities.

SUNDAY AFTERNOONS / EVENINGS

Student Ministry Team:  Volunteer to serve students (6th through 12th grade) in Core and Crave.

Sunday Afternoon Door Duty: Volunteer in the church lobby on Sundays (starting around 3pm) to greet Confirmation, Core, and Crave students. Give high fives, hellos, and direct new students to the C Room upstairs.

FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE

Cleaning Volunteer: Help make the church a clean and healthy place by dusting, vacuuming the carpet in the lobby and Worship Center, and washing toys for Children’s Ministry.   Serving time is flexible. If you have a couple of hours during the week, we’d love your help!

Grounds Volunteer:  Help take care of the exterior grounds. Depending on the season, mow and weed, or shovel snow and spread salt in the parking lot.  These jobs are done on an as-needed basis when your schedule allows.
