Use technology to support and enhance the message of the church

The effective use of media and technology has great power to support and enhance the message of the church.  We’re passionate about implementing these areas with creativity and excellence at New Hope, with the desire to create transformational moments in people’s lives. 


WORSHIP CENTER

Typically you will be scheduled one to two times per month (possibly more during Lent/Easter and Christmas) based on your availability. You must be able to check Planning Center Online (PCO) or “Planning Center Services” app on a regular basis. Accept or Decline all scheduled dates on PCO in a timely manner. 


Team members are expected to attend the weekly rehearsal when scheduled. There may be exceptions to this requirement when necessary, but not habitually. The scheduled team rehearses with band & vocalists Wednesday evenings from 6:00-8:00pm (arrive at 6:00pm for a 6:15pm start time) and serves on Sundays from 7:15am to 11:15am. 


Training is provided. 


Audio/Sound 

Set up the soundboard, mix, monitor, and adjust sound for the band, speaker, and all on-stage personnel as they lead or communicate to the audience. 


Media/Graphics/Lighting Operator

Run lights and media presentation software (Propresenter is used to transition slides, graphic, and video) for Sunday services.


Lighting Design & Programming

Design and program effective lighting during the week for Sunday services and other events. 


Camera Operator

Video and record message at 8:30am service. 


Stage Design & Construction

Create stage designs and build sets for worship center stage.


Stage Hand

Help set up and tear down stage for various events.



STUDENT MINISTRIES 

Run music, slides, media and lights for Core and Crave on Sunday evenings upstairs in the C-Room from 4:30pm – 8:30pm



CHILDREN’S MINISTRIES 

Run sound (music, microphone, video) and Propresenter (show completed ahead of time by director) during the 10am ministry hour on Sundays.
