Ready to get moving for God? Let's go!
2018 Advent Concert Volunteers: We're excited for another Advent Concert at the PAC in Appleton on 12.07.18. Work is currently underway on this year's stage elements. Volunteers are needed to help with this project. Volunteers are also needed for heavy lifting the day before the concert and immediately following the show to help with loading in and hauling out equipment. Click here if you're interested in helping with either of these projects.
Cleaning Crew: This is an "anytime you're available" volunteer role. We need help around the building with dusting, washing toys, and vacuuming the carpet in the lobby and Worship Center. If you have a couple of hours during the week, we'll make it work!
Jingle Jam Baking Brigade: A highlight of our Jingle Jam is free Christmas cookies for everyone! Cookies can be dropped off in the office the week of November 26th (or earlier if the cookies can be frozen). Please plate cookies on a disposable plate, or bag in a freezer bag. Please note the kind of cookie and if it contains nuts or if it's a specialty cookie that's allergy friendly (gluten free, dairy free, etc).
Jingle Jam Volunteers: Our Christmas Party BIG enough for the WHOLE family takes a LOT of help from our New Hope family. We will once again be offering two Jingle Jams on December 1st at 9am and 2pm. Our hope is that our volunteers will JAM at one event and JUMP IN to help at the other. You never know what you may be assigned to do as a Jingle Jam Volunteer. Anything from greeting to picture taking to making sure nobody gets too crazy in the indoor snowball fight.
Second Hour Leaders: Is there a bible study or small group video series you'd like to see offered at New Hope during our Second Hour? Great! We'd love for you to lead it! Don't freak out, leading a small group is not hard. You'll just be pressing play on the video, and sharing the discussion questions. This volunteer role takes place on Sunday mornings from 10:00-11:00AM.
Shoveling Squad: Winter is coming up quick and we could use some help on Sunday mornings to make sure our parking lot and walkways stay clear of the white stuff, and to put out salt to keep paths safe.
Sunday Afternoon Door Duty: Most New Hopers clear out by 11:30 on Sunday morning, but our Confirmation, Core, and Crave kiddos are back for more on Sunday afternoons. We're currently looking for volunteers available Sundays starting around 3pm to hang in the lobby giving high fives, hellos, and the occasional directions to new students to the C Room upstairs.
Sunday Morning Coffee: This year we are serving up free fresh ground coffee from Thailand on Sunday mornings. We currently need a volunteer each Sunday who can keep an eye on the coffee carafes and refill as necessary between 9:30 and 10:00AM. If you are available for one or two Sundays a month, we'll get you on the calendar.
Welcome Team: Be the first smiling face New Hopers and guests see on Sunday mornings! Volunteers serve about one Sunday a month. This is a great role for couples or families to serve together!
